Creating Beautiful Work
Inspired by the work of Ron Berge, I began to question if my students would be able to thoughtfully critique their peer's work.  Ron Berger's work inspired me to push my students to play a more active role in helping each other create "beautiful work".  

The Challenges of a New Teacher

No one told me about all the challenges I would face as a new teacher.  This reflection describes the beginning of my career and the many struggles I experienced.  It also suggests areas of reform that I believe are necessary in order to improve student achievement.
